My 1995 BMW 318i was acting a little funny the other night when l drove it about 30 miles then l stopped to get gas and after l got it l tried to start it and it would start for like 2 seconds then it would stop, l tried this 5 or 6 times to see if it would work and it wouldn't. l put oil in it cause it was low thinking maybe thats why. The ABS light is also flashing. I've been told maybe a air intake or fuel pump? Any mechinc help or anything would be great..

l would have to guess that your battery is either dying or dead. The reason that the ABS light came on is because it was not receiving enough power..therefore letting you know that the ABS is not working. Have your battery replaced.

l cant see it being a fuel pump on a fuel injection if theres no pressure from the fuel pump the car will just turn over and over till the battery is dead. if the air intake was faulty it would be the mass airflow sensor and you will most certainly get a misfire. l would say you could have a faulty fuel injector
