oil change time. bring it to a certified mechanic and have them do the oil/reset the maintenance computer. These cars will treat you VERY well if you treat them well.

silverstang is wrong. the ''soon'' notice means a scheduled oil change is nearing. it is not a ''check engine'' warning, which is a seperate alarm. Look in the manual if you need to know.

That means that the computer senses there is a problem with the car, either emissions wise, or a sensor may not be working. Best to go to a mechanic, or autoparts store that can hook up a code reader to find out what the codes are that the computer is detecting. Good luck.

In most cases this is an emissions warning and it is because air has entered the fuel system. Primary cause is often because the fuel cap was not placed secure the last time you fueled up. Check the cap first to mae sure it is tight and it will ofter reset it self. If not it can only be reset at the dealer after they interrogate the fault code system.
