It is a series 5, so it is always a good car. l think you should worry about gas prices though.

The newer 2004+ models do not have the same clean lines and sleek style.

A 1995 BMW525i is a great car. But now its 13 years old. Try looking for a 2000 or newer model.

l have always bought about 4 years old & it is a significant price discount. There should be roughly 15k miles per year, but BMW is r good for a bit more. So 4 years old with 60-90k miles should be reasonable. Since it is 2008, then a 2004 & working backwards should be good deals. Find a good local mechanic (preferably not ur dealer) & ask the owner if u can have it checked out by them. They should be able to work it over the tell u if there is anything u need to worry about like rust, or parts that r due to be replaced. Mine is a 1989 with 300+k miles on it & still purrs like a charm.
