Ok, l have a 2008 BMW 328i Convertible and the windshield washer light flashed many times today. Until this afternoon, the light flashed again when l stopped at a stop sign and the car suddenly stops. Then l restarted my car and try to move the car, it wo not move, the car was not responding when stepping down the pedal. Stepping down the accelerator pedal did not do anything! Then l ran to a gas station and bought some windshield washer and added and then l started my car, now the car is responding.

Haha, thats weird. l doubt that is the full reason, because BMW is would be stopping everywhere if that was the case, & if nice cars like that were abandoned all the time.eh, that would not be good. You might want to have ur car checked out, because if u think about it, thats a really stupid reason for ur car being non responsive & u may need to fix a problem before it gets worse. If that is the reason.you learned something new, & crazy lol, by the way nice car.if that turns out to be wrong =P

It is purely a coincidence. Unless you have a faulty computer, the wiper fluid system and the engine are completely separate. But it is under warrantee, so you might as well take it in.

If this is true then you have just given me the final reason to NEVER buy another BMW again. The damn cars are so laden with techno-electrical gizmos that they are in constant need of adjustment, maintenance and repair. What ever happened to 'the driver is car'??
