l changed all the plugs,all ignition coil and all o2 sensors(4).still no change.pls help

Though l know bugger all about cars. l had something similar on my car once, it was a 6 cylinder and for a short while it was running on five. Turned out one of the jumper leads had come loose. Just a guess.

sounds like u r pinging ur engine. what grade gas r u using?

wow. go to ur bmw dealer asap. it could really be many things. on older cars u could advance or retard the timing with the distributor, but this is an e46 bmw we r talking about. im sure they have throttle by wire, & all of the engine management is computerized. u cant really do anything to work on it. the part about the O2 sensors indicates that u probably arent running stoich. which could mean that ur fuel mixture is not right. this could be for many reasons.. fuel injectors, timing, ecu, fuel pump, leak, problem with ur valvetrain (although l highly doubt it. u would be hearing noises that make babies cry)

Please provide more information (e46 what? 323, 325,330?).
Also the year preferably.
Then, mention also scan results if any, including diagnostic measures already done (it would be futile to recommend something that you have already looked at).
