you should test drive it listen to engine BMW is tend to have a little rattle and if it smokes that not good. its spring and you should not see any type of smoke but you never gave a year or motel and if you do buy it get a tune up asap no matter what the owner says do not go to test drive alone unless you are Vin diesel

l know a heck of a lot about BMWs & what u came across is NOT a good deal - the owner wants to be rid of it because of some sort of problem. Do NOT waste ur time with this. Firstly, as l noted on the picture, its a BMW 5-series E39 - a model which even when facelifted was discontinued in August 2003, in favour of the E60 BMW 5-series, so the one u r looking at is not 2008. He/she is tricking you. And look at the mileage?! 86,000? You must be joking!! Sure the E39 was & still is a comfortable & great car to drive, but if l were u then l would look for something a little newer, with a little less mileage & a little more expensive. l will send u this link to show u the different eras of the BMW 5-Series, so u know what a complete robbing of the wallets the offer is::::
