l am environmentalist. But l feel like l have betrayed everything l believed in by buying a BMW M3 convertible.Cars are my weakness. It is like the fruit of temptation, l know it is so evil and wrong, but so wrongfully delicious. l can not resist beautiful cars. For me, it is the same concept as sex. How can something so amazing and thrilling be a sin? How can l learn to get over my love for cars and sacrifice it for the environment?
I am seriously addicted to cars. l spent 1/2 of my salary this year just to buy it and l took out a mortgage.

If you're really feeling that bad about it, you could always do a good deed and give it away. Not only would you no longer be harming the environment, but you'd also be making someone else a very happy bunny! I'd be happy to take it off your hands. xx

Well put it this way. Considering you own a BMW M3 it gives a good estimate of your standard of living.

Now if everyone in this world enjoyed your standard of living [Burned the resources you do - approximately] and we sustained this living. then we would need approximately 16 to 54 X the currently produced resources (Energy, oil, coal, steel, tin, zinc, silver, etc etc.

Join the group. Jump in and become one of the many who belong to a BMW Club. There are BMW clubs all over the USA and most of Europe. Many of us are enthusiasts or even environmentalists, but not many of us are able to afford a BMW M-3 Convertible. We do not feel that it is evil or sinful.

Well do not feel guilty, u can save the environment in other ways (recycle etc etc). l mean the bad thing about that car is the fuel efficiency. If u look at a car only as a means of transportation to get from point A to point B, u can sacrifice ur love for them easily in that way. l mean we do need cars in this society & the environment is not doing to get any better at all by u not driving this car, it will make 0.0001% difference. l am an Economist yet l bought a 2007 scion tC over an economical 4 door family sedan, go figure but l have learned & atleast its good on gas so l am somewhat still an economical person, but l will probably get an even more economical car next time around who knows when. If u dont drive alot daily l would just keep the car. If u traded it in l dont think u will get very much but check with dealers.

The engineering developments used in BMWs make them very efficient cars.
In my opinion you have chosen wisely by supporting a brand that has found a good balance between style, performance and evironmental friendliness.
