l have a 97 740i and when l got it the center console, where the radio stations, the time, etc. showed up had some of the bulbs knocked out. So all the words and numbers are not clear whatsoever. Yet l have a 91 735iL and all the bulbs work perfectly inside. l do not use the 735 anymore.. l use the 740i everyday and it is becoming a nuisance. My pops came up with an idea on trying to remove the bulbs from the 735 and replacing the ones inside the 740. l went to my local mechanic to know how much it would cost to put new bulbs in, and it is way too much! Do you think my dad is idea can work????
