So far there have been no 530d Series BMW Diesels imported into the USA. Maybe 20 years ago there was a 524 BMW Diesel imported to the USA, but the lack of performance caused the car to be very hard to sell and service. MBz seems to be the only car manufacturer who has been able to keep up with cost of diesel fuel. With the onslaught of the new Hybrid cars, the diesel trend may take a back seat for a couple more years.
